My Comments: When Calls the Heart is a Canadian-American television drama series, based on Janette Oke’s book from her Canadian West series, and developed by Michael Landon Jr. The series has run on the Hallmark Channel since 2014, and is available on Netflix in Canada. It is now in its 7th season. Ms. Oke is an excellent writer. This excellence is carried to the TV series. It’s nice to see an extremely popular series have such high standards for families. And it’s very cute! ENJOYMENT RATING: 4 stars.
