Notes: Formerly known as FEDERAL MATTAWA, was re-named in 2016. The vessel OCEAN CASTLE (IMO: 9315537, MMSI 229236000) is a Bulk Carrier built in 2005 (17 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Malta. I enjoyed seeing her at anchor in Hamilton harbor waiting to take on cargo. She was one of five ships in the harbor that day.

Verila returned to the Great Lakes early October 2024. She had left Santos, BR (Sao Paulo) on Sept 8, bound for Hamilton (with a brief check in at Quebec City and Montreal). Prior ports were Antwerpen, NL; Ghent, NL.
